Q: Why learn Bowen therapy?
A: Bowen therapy has been called the homeopathy of bodywork. It is incredibly effective and can be performed on people at all levels of health and disease. There are only a few, very specific contraindications to the work. From a practitioner standpoint, it is possible to work with more than one person at a time, you do not require any special equipment to offer the work, and our practitioners do not worry about the injuries that practitioners of other modalities may be concerned about like burnout, hand, wrist and finger injuries. It also provides noticeable results and improvement quickly.
Q: What types of concerns/ailments can Bowen therapy help with?
A: Bowen therapy is quite effective at dealing with a variety of concerns like: • Back pain • Neck pain • Joint pain • Muscle pain • Carpal Tunnel • Breathing difficulty • Frozen shoulder • Fibromyalgia • Sports injuries • Recovering from injury • Digestive complaints • Headaches and migraines • Tinnitus • Jaw pain • Sciatica • Foot pain • Muscular pain • Gait problems
